LG Optimus L9 is designed specifically for users who love fashion and are active in social networks, especially for younger children. The first impression when interacting with the LG Optimus L9 is a slim design with a wide screen, the design is pretty classy. This smartphone has a screen size of 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and 234 ppi density reaches the screen so that the screen looks sharper and clearer.

Above it we find the earpiece, the proximity sensor and the small VGA camera for video chats. Just below the screen are the capacitive Back and Menu keys surrounding the hardware Home button. The backlighting of the touch keys is configurable in the settings and you can have it always on/off or choose between several auto-turn-off intervals.

Performance powered with a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 with a TI OMAP 4430 chipset and GPU PowerVR SGX540. Operating system used is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The performance of the LG Optimus L9 is no doubt that with the additional 4 GB internal memory and 1 GB RAM. For connection, this smartphone is HSDPA 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, DLNA, WiFi b/g/n, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth v3.0 and GPS with A-GPS support. Camera LG Optimus L9 presented is the 5 MP autofocus camera with LED Flash and a maximum resolution shots of 2592 x 1944 pixels supported with Geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. At full resolution details are fuzzy, but color reproduction is fairly accurate. Outdoor images turned out better than our indoor samples, where even in strong light the images turned out grainy. The results are fine for Facebook and other sharing services, but the camera is definitely a bit of a disappointment. The camera is capable of recording at 1080p quality @30 fps. LG Optimus L9 also serve a secondary camera with VGA quality.
